Japan’s Biggest Inbound Event to Take Place in Shibuya & Harajuku—“A New Kind of Japanese Festival” to Promote Japanese Pop Culture to the World

Japan’s biggest inbound event for promoting for promoting Japanese pop culture to the world, “MOSHI MOSHI NIPPON FESTIVAL 2018 in SHIBUYA,” across the areas of Shibuya and Harajuku. This two-day festival will take place on March 24th-25th and is free to enter (though select areas will charge a fee).
The MOSHI MOSHI NIPPON FESTIVAL began in 2014 as part of the “MOSHI MOSHI NIPPON PROJECT” in response to the increasing number of inbound foreign visitors to the country and seeks to promote the pop culture of Japan to them, including fashion, music, anime, cuisine and more. The festival drew in 30,000 attendees in 2016, 40% of which were people from overseas, and interest and attraction regarding the festival is showing a sound increase every year among foreign visitors to and foreign residents of Japan.
The MOSHI MOSHI NIPPON FESTIVAL has levelled up this year and will not take place at the usual venue at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium. It will instead take to the areas of Shibuya and Harajuku in Tokyo, Japan’s entertainment hub. The festival will jack the town and promote the charm of Japan in co-operation with local administrations, shops and complexes.

Everything you could imagine at a Japanese festival will be there, including stalls, food, stage events, live performances, ennichi and more, all of which will be arranged in a cutting-edge way possible only by MOSHI MOSHI NIPPON. A multitude of experienced-based and participation-based activities are also planned to hit the festival, including popular fashion for girls, beauty, hair arranging, make-up, fortune telling, workshops – the list goes on.
